Frequently asked questions
Do we have to replace our SCADA?
No. The INCLUDE platform complements SCADA rather than replacing it. SCADA keeps controlling the process in the control room, while the data needed for analysis and management flows to the platform.
Can older PLCs be connected?
Most can. PLCs and meters with Modbus RTU connect through IncludeGateways. During the survey we confirm which communication ports are available.
Does production have to stop during integration?
We plan the work so production keeps running. Anything that needs a machine to stop is scheduled with your team, for example during planned maintenance.
Our machines come from many brands. Is that a problem?
No. As long as a machine has a data output or can take a sensor, its data can be brought into one platform.
