Can INCLUDE build a sensor for an unusual parameter?
Yes. We start from the parameter and the site, pick a sensing element that is available, then design the electronics, firmware, and enclosure around it. If an off-the-shelf product turns out to be enough, we will tell you, because it is faster and cheaper.
Does custom hardware have to use the INCLUDE platform?
Our devices connect straight to the INCLUDE platform so the data is usable from day one. Because they use standard protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, and Modbus, the data can also be forwarded to other systems when needed.
How long from idea to prototype?
It depends on complexity and component availability. After the consultation we give you a written schedule per stage: design, prototype, field test, and production.
How much does IoT hardware development cost?
Cost follows the scope: number of parameters, connectivity type, enclosure needs, and unit count. We give an estimate after a free consultation, and work can start with a single pilot point.
