JAKARTA — INCLUDE Technology, an Internet of Things (IoT) startup built by students of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), has won 2nd place in the Student Track of Astra Astranauts 2024. The award was presented during the Demo Day & Awarding night at Catur Dharma Hall, Menara Astra, Jakarta, on 7 June 2024.
The achievement earned INCLUDE Technology a trophy and a Rp30,000,000 cash prize, along with the opportunity to collaborate with the Astra Group ecosystem.
Astra Astranauts 2024 is Astra Group’s annual digital-innovation competition, held for the third time under the theme “Technology Innovation for Today and The Future of Indonesia.” This year the competition attracted over 2,400 registrants from across Indonesia and selected 19 finalists across three categories: Startup Track, Student Track, and Business Challenge. A total prize pool of Rp350 million was on offer, together with collaboration opportunities with Astra Group, exclusive mentorship, and access to venture capital.
In the grand final, finalists pitched their innovations to a cross-industry jury including Paul Soegianto (Chief of Group Digital Strategy, Astra), Mellisa Irene (Partner, East Ventures), Brata Rafly (Head of Startup Ecosystem, AWS Indonesia), Elvira Jakub (CEO, Dentsu Indonesia), Doddy Lukito (Co-Founder, Halodoc), and David Forden (Customer Engineering Head, Google Cloud).
INCLUDE Technology is Indonesia’s first end-to-end smart IoT solution company, focused on reducing machine downtime and improving industrial efficiency. Through a combination of sensors and predictive analytics, INCLUDE helps manufacturers detect potential machine failures early, before they lead to production losses.

Astra Director Santosa underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration. “Startups must build collaboration with corporations and other partners. Through Astranauts, Astra supports the growth of Indonesia’s digital industry,” he said.
The Astranauts 2024 achievement adds to INCLUDE Technology’s growing track record across national and regional technology-innovation events, reinforcing its position as an AIoT solution provider for smart industry in Indonesia.
